Should I order extra invitations?

Yes we recommend it, as guest counts can fluctuate, and unexpected additions may arise.  We advise our clients to order roughly 10 to 20 extra.

Letterpress reorders

Due to the letterpress process taking so much time to set up, last-minute reprints for letterpress designs can be extremely costly.  The initial design & plate fees will not be charged but a rush reorder of 10 additional invitations can cost nearly half of what an original order of 70 would cost therefore it would be better to order extra in your original order and if they are not used they will be a lovely keepsake for you and your families.

How far in advance should I order my invites?

We recommend that you start the invitation process as soon as the venue/location and date have been chosen.  The invites can set the aesthetic tone for your entire event; therefore it is prudent to plan your wedding at least four to six months in advance.

How long will my order take?

Orders are normally shipped within 4 weeks of customers proof approval. (Please note speedy delivery is available at an extra cost)

Personalised and bespoke orders will take longer and expected delivery time will be approx 6 weeks from customers proof approval.

Will rush orders be accepted?

Yes at an extra cost.  This depends on our schedule and the complexity of your design, therefore please contact us with the details.  Charges range from 20% to 30% of the total order and delivery can be from 2 to 3 weeks depending on the complexity of your design.

We can send you your envelopes ahead of your invites so you can begin addressing them before you receive your invites at an extra cost of £20.00 in the UK.

Please note speedy shipping is available at an extra cost, we definitely recommend this if you are in a hurry.

How to reduce turnaround time?

To reduce turnaround times we offer the option of shipping envelopes to you before we send out the stationery, this can speed things up as you could be addressing things prior to receiving your order.  There will be a minimal charge for this.

Proof read your wording before placing your order as if the wording is incorrect this can lead to delays in shipping and extra charges.

Can you print our wedding invitation in different languages?

We are happy to print your wedding invitation in different languages, just provide us with the text in a word document.

Can you print invites in a single colour?

Yes we can print most of our invites in a single colour at a reduced price. Please contact us for further details. 

Can we send you a design and will you print it?

We offer a bespoke design service and can tailor your needs to your wedding theme.
We cannot use somebody else’s artwork, but you can send us ideas to guide us if you have a specific theme in mind.

What happens if we receive our invites and they have a spelling mistake?

Clients are responsible for making any and all necessary corrections before indicating their approval to authorise production of their stationery.  Unita design cannot be held liable in any way for any errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, colour and all other printed content once our client has approved the proof.
